Matt Moore: Clutch Since Day One

I am more bummed out about Ryan Tannehill's injury than anyone other than David Appollos.  But persist we must.  Win, we must.  It's Jets week.  So I want to send a bit of sunshine into the lives of Dolphins nation by recalling an early experience as a Bruins fan.
I moved to LA to pursue my PhD in 2000.  I was learning to be a college football fan since my undergraduate school was a basketball and academics kind of place.  In 2002, the Bruins caught two injuries at Cal, and were ready to trot out a scrawny freshman from Van Nuys that none of us had ever heard about.  Surprisingly, the coaching staff came out throwing, and the Bruins stomped on the Cardinal in glorious fashion.  Here was the third stringer, putting the stupid tree to rest.  Nothing is more pleasing than collapsed smugness, and Stanford's pathetic fan base, populating a bar in Westwood that day, looked suddenly crumpled sad and wrinkled in their khaki and gingham costumes.
Matt Moore stomped them.  He was cocky, bright, swaggering- in short, the sort of guy you play your tail off for because, quite simply, you like him.
So let's send the Jets into oblivion once again.  Brandon Marshall can cry about holding calls, ___- here I was going to call out another of their players, but I can't remember any... Oh well.
Fins Up.  And let's rally around the kid from Van Nuys.  He's got moxie and he'll leave it all on the field.

In Matt We Trust!!!

I like Matt Moore too. Turnovers and penalties are going to determine this outcome. Going to have to play clean football up here.

It's cold up here in Jersey and going to be raining at the start of each half. It was 10° with the wind chill the past two days so 38° feels balmy to us today.

Glad we are not in Buffalo instead.

Lets hope he gets a good grip on things.

I think we will have a circle the wagons mentality and come out fired up. There will be a boisterous Dolfans contingency in the stands. So they can feed off each other.

Miami 20-9

Well said Carl. Play to win but let's be focused and not beat ourselves, especially with the ill-timed penalties we seem to get every game. Run Jay Run!!!

First of all; tannehill was given 4 & 3/4 years to show his worth. Secondly; if tannehill had not gotten injured; we would have lost the game that was in the bag; 21-9.
The 3 game changing hiccups by tannehill before he was injured would have increased to 5 or 6 had he not suffered the leg injury. (the fumble at the 1 yard line / the backwards pass to Landry / the easy pass overthrow to Ajayi for a walk in TD) These blunders were designed to give the Cardinals back the 21 points that we had acquired the hard way.
You see people; I still believe that tannehill is a mole and all true Dolphins fans had better hope that tannehill does not return this season at all; or he WILL FINISH his playoffs sabotage and derailing that he has orchestrated the past four years.
In 2013 when we needed to defeat the Jets or the Bills for the 6th seed; I predicted that tannehill would lose both games. Whereas Carl L. predicted that tannehill would win both games and at the very least, win one of them. We all know how that turned out.
I predicted that if Matt Moore had started either game; that we would make the playoffs. Well lo' and behold; we are facing a similar situation in 2016; with the previous obstruction completely out of Matt's way.
Matt is a little older and has some rust issues now; but I am confident that we are about to see what would have happened in 2013 had Matt Moore been allowed to take the helm under center.
You see people; Matt Moore can throw beautiful deep balls. We have 3 deep threat WRs who seem to be able to get open deep at will; especially Kenny the man of Stills. You will also see with Matt Moore under center that we have an AJ Green clone in Devante Parker. The winning formula is a healthy dose of the J-Train and deep bombs away early and often Matt Moore!

Temper your enthusiasm, David. Moore is one more concussion away from Yates! Yikes!

Everyone wants us to win no matter who is our QB.

Tannehill has a much better arm and was playing very well for 7 of our last 8 games. That's all that matters. Not what happened in 2013.

Today, against those dastardly Jets, we all have to get a good vibe brewing and put our differences behind us and support Matt Moore.

Hey Carvelly; I am with you on the support of Matt Moore and CJ Yikes. But I just don't think that it is a good idea to have tannehill on the sidelines; just in case I am correct in my suspicions. Matt Moore had better be careful of whom he takes a drink from; or he could be on the bench before he knows it.

I like the bombs away early idea. In 6 road games only 20 pts total have been scored in the 1st half. The play calling always is non aggressive . its time to play to win an away game right from the start.

Matt Moore played great tonight. And that's why he is our backup QB.

Being a back up is actually a great job. He makes 3 million a year to be an insurance policy is a wonderful opportunity to support his family.

Lets not lose sight of the fact that Ryan Tannehill is our starter even if Matt Moore leads us into the playoffs and we win the Super Bowl.

Aw crap that game have David Apollos excuses and justifications for his insanity for at least 9 more years.

I doubt Matt Moore will play that long.
